Lowther, Penrith, Cumbria, England, UK. 11th August 2018. The annual Lowther Show takes place in the castle grounds in Cumbria. The shows biggest attraction is the hunting hounds as packs from across the British Isles compete for rosettes in a celebration of their breeds conformation. Foxhunting has been an integral part of rural life in Cumbria and foot packs have been an effective way of fox management in challenging terrain.
