Wigton, Carlisle, Cumbria, UK. 23rd June 2018. Several hundred trail hounds and their owners gathered in the Cumbrian countryside near Wigton to compete in the sports flagship international event. Hounds from as far a field as Cork in Ireland to local Cumbrian bred raced the aniseed and paraffin laid trails. Each race lasts around 30 minutes covering several miles, with cash prizes and bookmakers present there is plenty at stake.
