Appleby-in-Westmorland, Cumbria, England, UK. 12th August 2021. Gypsies, Roma and travellers gather at Appleby in Cumbria for the biggest horse fair of its kind in Europe. Typically the fair takes place in June, although in 2021 it was in August due to COVID. The fair has only been cancelled twice in its 250 year old history.
