Kelso, Scottish Borders, UK. 1st February 2019. Ghillies and fly fishers had to contend with a frozen River Tweed at Kelso as the Salmon season opened on the 1st February 2019. The Tweed boasts one of the longest seasons in the UK running through to the 30th November.
